Club BBQ - Wednesday 13th July 2005

This year, a total of 55 members and friends supported one of the largest BBQ's we have held for some time.  A pro-active social committee  managed the numbers with ease, and everyone settled down to enjoy a range of juicy burgers, sizzling pork sausages and a variety of flavoured  kebabs which were all liberally topped with superb home cooked onions.  Last year's new introduction .. the char grilled salmon steaks also established their continuing popularity.  The gastronomic event ended with the traditional Strawberries and cream.

It has to be acknowledged that the weather was absolutely perfect for the event, with everyone sitting round the BBQ chatting as the light gradually faded .. the clear night sky displaying a myriad of colour (as can be seen in a number of the photos) as the sun slowly set.  Thanks go equally to our Chairman Colin G3RLA, who headed the sub-committee, and to Gordon G8MMM who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen so smoothly.

The following are but a selection of photographs as seen through the lens of a tiny digital camera.  They are arranged in chronological order for no other reason than ease of setting up.  These are low resolution pictures for quick download (depending on your connection).  If anyone would like a high quality file to print, then please let me know.  e-mail: g4oar@wadarc.com
