70cms DF Hunt : 13th August 2008

| This DF Hunt was the result of a number of
requests for one on 70cms, rather than 145MHz which is where we are
normally found. Tom G4BKF offered to be the fox, and three teams
turned out to give it a try. The fox was to be found in fields close to the bottom of the Lever Causeway on the other side of the M53 via a short bridge with access from a valid footpath in the far corner of a field. Some excellent photos were taken by Bob G4NCI who was assisting the fox and shows some great facial expressions as leading members of each team realise they are on the right track .. so to speak. |
