Some Historical Photos Circa 1982/5

The following photos have come to light and were taken some time between 1982/5

The first were taken at Royden Park as part of a Special Event ? Jamboree ? or perhaps
Amateur Radio Demonstration weekend.  Can anyone be more specific either on the date
or the occasion  ?

The next three are taken at the Club HQ at Irby Cricket Club.  It was one of our Surplus
Equipment Sales with Alan G3NPJ acting as Auctioneer, assisted by Alan G4EFP.

The next two were taken on a DF Hunt near the quarry close to Mill Hill Road, Irby
and feature the G8MMM DF team at work.  I know that, because I took them !

The last two were taken one Christmas at Mr Chows on Parkgate promenade.  Again
the year is not recorded, but fits the same time scale as all the pictures on this page.

Hope you enjoyed those .. as always I appeal to anyone with any old pictures of
the Wirral & District ARC activities to contact me. I will arrange to scan the photos
and return them as soon as possible.
