Our annual Hot Pot, Presentations and Awards evening took place on Wed 14th October.  Once again there were only two entries for the construction contest, but that did not mean it was an easy decision for the Judges .. seen below studying the assessment criteria !

The standard was extremely high, and to begin the evening both members introduced their entries and finished with questions from the audience.

As is now traditional, a superb Hot Pot was served just after 9pm which had been prepared during the day by Laura M3ELV, Eric G6HWD and XYL Pat, and seen below being thanked by Gordon G8MMM our Chairman.

Simon G6XHF and Bob G4NCI on behalf of their team for an excellent win in this year's Eileen Medley 2m DF Hunt.

Chris M1EEV receives the G8PMF Rose Bowl on behalf of his team as winners of the Revenge 2m DF Hunt

Simon G6XHF, on behalf of himself and Tom G4BKF this year who won the Glen Dobie Shield for "Best Fox" hiding place.

Chris M1EEV receives what has become the "Sunday Shield" for his team on the re-instatement of the  70cms DF Hunt (although held on a Wednesday !!).

Laura M3ELV was awarded the prestigious 10th Anniversary Trophy for "Services to the Club" by a non committee member.  During a most difficult year Laura announced she wished to continue looking after the Club's interest at NARSA which her husband Chris had done before he sadly went silent key.  Laura is also an extremely valuable contributor at many of the Club social events.
