Christmas Night Out - Friday 7th Dec 2007

Once again, keeping an eye on restaurant trends on Wirral, we changed our venue to the Cherry Orchard in 2007.  This gave us the opportunity to return to a Friday evening, and filled some of the gaps of last year .. Sprouts, Bread Sauce and Coffee & Mints all in the price.

Being within days of the Club's 30th Anniversary we extended the invitations to some previous club members who came along and we ended up with 49 members and friends for the evening.  A very creditable turnout which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present.

Our thanks to Gordon G8MMM who negotiated over several months with the Cherry Orchard and masterminded the logistics of the evening, including a fine raffle.  Thanks also to the committee for their support and all the attendees who were in fine form. 

It is intended very much as a social event in the club's calendar and it was most rewarding once again to see so many xyl's at the event.
