Wirral & District Amateur Radio Club
Formed 46 years ago in January 1978, we provide a meeting place for those interested in all aspects of the world-wide hobby of Amateur Radio and Short Wave listening within reach of Wirral and a forum for the exchange of knowledge.
Our HQ is located at Irby Cricket Club where we meet at 8pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. An excellent, central location with spacious parking. As a visitor or prospective new member, you are most welcome to come and meet us at any of our Club meetings or D&W's.

April 2024 @ 20:00 at Irby Cricket Club
Do you know what 'Meshtastic' is?
I don't think any of us did until Steve's (G7BBF) talk a few weeks ago.
Now it's time for phase 2 of this
At the NARSA Rally at least two members have bought the Meshtastic units and
we will set these up to start running on Wednesday night.
This is an experiment to see how well the system works with a view to
potentially setting up a club node as well
Come and join us on Wednesday night to set up the nodes that we have and
hopefully see how it all works.
